Paul Thompson
Guarderobe is a small independent group of professional historical interpreters and craftsmen, founded by Paul and Alex Thompson in 2000. Paul and Alex share a lifelong interest in archaeology and history and started re-enactment by joining the Wars of the Roses Federation.
Guarderobe provides a variety of services to schools, museums, archaeological sites, public and private institutions and are living history interpreters who depict life in a wide range of periods including;
What's in the name 'Guarderobe?'
Paul and Alex were asked, at short notice, for a name and the first thing that sprang to mind was Guarderobe, as they were taking a 'garderobe' to their first ever paid event. The name stuck and it is a bit of fun!
